HORIZONTAL CAROUSEL SYSTEMS
A horizontal carousel is an automated storage and retrieval device consisting of a series of linked bins mounted on an oval track. When activated, the bins rotate to bring the required items to the operator or an automated picker. The carousel can be controlled from a simple foot switch, to push-button microprocessor controls, to software controlled systmes. VERTICAL CAROUSEL SYSTEMS
Vertical carousel systems are at home in a vast array of office, industrial and commercial applications. They are best applied in medium throuput stockroom applications such as in toolrooms, JIT buffer storage, kitting for assembly, sorting of small items, and on-line storage of components and supplies. SHUTTLE VERTICAL LIFT SYSTEMS
Remstar's innovative ShuttleTM Vertical Lift Module is an enclosed system of vertically arranged trays, an extraction platform, and a series of computerized push button controls. Operators stay in one place as the ShuttleTM delivers items to an ergonomic workstation. The ShuttleTM does all the locating, retrieving, and recording. Ideal for tooling, general warehousing and central storage on the production floor, the Shuttle's efficient design and variety of over 50 tray sizes organizes parts, tools, or other items into a single, densely packed module.
Stored items are completely encased within the ShuttleTM for maximum protection and security, accommodating tray loads of varying heights up to 29.5" while providing superior performance and storage flexibility. See Video.
